Fiber-reinforced polymer composites offer numerous advantages over conventional materials, due to their better specific strength and stiffness. The service conditions and manufacturing process of the laminated plate are the causes of delamination which is a critical issue that needs to be addressed. Localized stress increases in and surrounding the delaminated zone if incipient delamination is not detected and stopped. This accelerated delamination process, driven by localized stress, ultimately leads to the failure of the composite structure. Therefore, it is imperative to explore the dynamic characteristics of delaminated composite structures. This study focuses on assessing the impact of delamination at various interfaces on the vibration characteristics of composite square plates composed of multiple plies. It also investigates how factors such as the shape, severity, and location of delamination affect the vibration properties of the composite plate. The modal analysis results obtained from a Finite Element (FE) model created using ABAQUS software are compared and validated against analytical and experimental findings from prior literature. Additionally, an analytical model used for finite element modeling of the composite plate is presented. The findings reveal that modal parameters of delaminated plates can serve as valuable indicators for identifying the shape, severity, and location of delamination.

Effective organizational structure and culture are vital in shaping corporate dynamic capabilities, enabling microfilms to adapt and thrive in dynamic environments. It is curious that the previous studies diverge in conceptualizing the condition strategy of organizational culture and structure on the relationship between corporate dynamic capabilities and sustainable performance. Thus, this study advances structurization and culturalization in the empirical domain of microfirms. The aim of this study is twofold; first to examine the direct effects of knowledge sharing and sensing capability on sustainable performance, and second, to describe the moderation effects of organizational culture and structure in the relationship between sensing capability and knowledge sharing in shaping sustainable performance. The study is grounded on 602 employees of the dairy industry in Tanzania to test the conceptual research model constructed under the lens of KBV. We used the conditional process analyses and tested the study’s hypotheses. The findings affirmed conditional direct effects that sensing capability and knowledge sharing have positive significant effects on sustainable performance at a specified level of organizational culture and structure. Moreover, moderation analysis confirmed that organizational culture and structure dampen the relationship between knowledge sharing and sensing capability on sustainable performance. This study shed new light on the necessity of structurization and culturalization among employees of microfirms in emerging economies such as Tanzania.

In the Soviet territories of the former Russian Empire in the early 1920s, an attempt was made to carry out global concentration of production - the geographical concentration of production not of any range of a particular type of product, but of its entire volume. That is, the concentration of the type of industrial activity as such was assumed, the possibility of it in socialist society was justified by K. Marx. Due to objective and subjective factors, the only industry where such an attempt became possible was electrical machine-building, and during 1920�1923. the production of electric machines began to concentrate in Moscow and Petrograd, which undermined the potential of Ukrainian electric machine branch. Considering the political importance for the Soviet government of neutralizing this negative, the concentration of electrical machine-building activities in Soviet capitals from 1925 began to be presented as a result of the industrial policy of Tsarist Russia, what moved into historical works. However, the information available in the documents completely refutes this view, while simultaneously confirming the purposeful actions of the Soviet government to curtail the electrical machine industry in Ukraine.

The article is devoted to the substantiation of theoretical and methodological approaches to evaluating the economic effectiveness of the management of land resources in agriculture. To assess the effectiveness of the management of land resources for agricultural enterprises suggested factors affecting the market for agricultural products, which integrates a system of environmental, economic and social indicators in this area. The paper highlights main theoretical aspects of the land resource management of the agricultural enterprises. The essence of land resource management is shown based on the definition of the objects of management, which are land resources of agricultural enterprises, subjects of management, which are landowners and employees of such agricultural enterprises, and objective of management, which is providing and maintaining the efficiency of land resources usage as a key factor of agricultural production.\nThe land market and its structure are presented in detail. The characteristic structure of land resources leading European countries. Described prospects management of land resources of agricultural enterprises. A complete analysis of mortgage lending secured by agricultural lands has been carried out. A decrease in the number of agricultural enterprises, which is mostly connected with imperfections of land governance, formed in the state, has been identified. Relationships between strengths and weaknesses of agricultural enterprises, opportunities, and threats of efficient land use have been identified. Scenarios of economic development have been considered, which should be taken into account while developing a strategy. The study of the existing theoretical approaches to the analysis of the efficiency of agricultural enterprises land use made it possible to identify the need for comprehensive approach application, taking into account all aspects of the agricultural enterprise. In this regard prioritize land management is of particular importance that determines the relevance of the chosen topic.

Lithium disilicate glass ceramic (LDGC) is a good candidate for CAD/CAM dental restoration. After machining, lithium metasilicate glass ceramics are heat treated, transformed to lithium disilicate and their microstructural changes increase their rigidity and hardness, making them virtually non-machining. Until now, melting and casting techniques have been used to fabricate lithium disilicate. In this study, plasma spark sintering (SPS) for the first time was used to fabricate primary lithium metasilicate blocks at three different temperatures. Initially, the constituents were melted in a platinum crucible at 1450 °C. The molten materials were quenched in water and the resulted frits were grinded. The resulting powder was sintered by plasma spark sintering (SPS) at 660, 680 and 700 °C. Microstructural studies by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Vicker’s micro hardness assay showed that all samples were composed of lithium metasilicate phase in a glassy matrix and with increasing sintering temperature, lithium metasilicate particle size and number is increased and higher mechanical properties is achieved. But the sintered sample at 700 °C has less machining ability than the previous two. Therefore, the optimum sintering temperature of glassy frits was determined by SPS at 680 °C.

Background: The atopic march is a term that describes the progression of atopic disorders, from atopic dermatitis in young infants and toddlers to allergic rhinitis and asthma in later childhood. This retrospective study was aimed to examine the allergic diseases between 3 and 7 years old in patients with atopic dermatitis in the first 2 years of life. \nMethods: The study populations consisted of 119 children (AD group) aged 0-2 years with atopic dermatitis in 2013, and 92 children (non-AD control group) aged 0-3 months who had a hearing test for screening in the same year. The diagnoses of wheezing, atopic dermatitis, and allergic rhinitis in both groups below 2 years old and between 3-7 years old were examined from the hospital\'s database and e-health service (e-pulse).\nResults: Between 3 and 7 years old, the frequency of at least one wheezing attack (28.6% vs. 29.3%, P=0.511), at least three wheezing attacks (15.1% vs. 9.8%, P=0.173) and allergic rhinitis (22.7% vs. 22.8%, P=0.555) were not significantly different between AD and control groups, however, in the AD group, the frequency of at least one wheezing attack (42.6% vs. 19.4%, P=0.006), at least three wheezing attacks (25.6% vs. 8.3%, P=0.011), and allergic rhinitis (38.3% vs. 12.5%, P=0.001) were significantly higher in children with food sensitization than in children without food sensitization.\nConclusions: This retrospective study showed that the later allergic respiratory diseases in children with early-onset atopic dermatitis were associated with food sensitization regardless of early wheezing, and the persistence of atopic dermatitis was associated with multiple food sensitizations.

Aim:\nPregnancy affects women\'s lives in many different ways. Especially sexual intercourse is often affected by pregnancy. We aimed to evaluate sexual function in all trimesters of pregnancy within Turkish and Syrian immigrant women. \n Method:\n300 Syrian immigrant and 300 Turkish pregnant women were included.The sexual function of pregnant women was measured using the Arizona Sexual Experiences Scale. The frequency of pre-pregnancy sexual intercourse and the frequency of sexual intercourse in the last week, the status of pregnant women was determined by choosing one of the options belongs to questionare.\n Results:\nThe sexual activity decreases in both the Syrian immigrant and Turkish pregnant women during pregnancy. Turkish and Syrian immigrant pregnant women have no information whether the sexual intercourse is safe/or not in pregnancy.\n Conclusion:\nSexual activity should be explained by obstetricians and gynecologists in antenatal and perinatal period that sexual pleasure is not changed in pregnancy and sexual intercourse is usuallysafe in all trimesters and it does not chance according to race.

This article presents and analyses a didactic proposal based on manipulative material (Knobless Cylinders) used in a Montessori classroom of 3-6-year-old pre-schoolers. Choosing this material is justified in relation to the competencies/strategies/skills used during the development of mathematical patterning. Numerous studies emphasize the importance of patterns in mathematics instruction from early childhood onward. However, there are several educational factors that have not yet been clarified, such as meaningful learning, the overuse of abstract visual patterns that are distant from the student’s previous life experience, etc. This article discusses the sequence of proposed activities and certain critical issues.

ABSTRACT\nVulvovaginal candidiasis is a pathogenic fungal or yeast infection of the female lower genital tract, the vulva, and the vagina caused by initially innocuous Candida species. Health care delivery related constraints in developing countries have made diagnosis and management of vulvo-vagina symptoms unnecessarily complicated leading to poor management of the infection. The study was conducted to determine the prevalence of vulvovaginal candidiasis and their relationship with some clinical diagnosis among women attending clinics in selected hospitals in Abia State, Nigeria. \nMethodology: Two hundred (200) high vaginal swabs were collected from each of the selected hospitals. These were streaked on chocolate agar, blood agar and sabouraud dextrose agar. Structured tool was used in collecting survey of patients’ basic clinical information.\nResults: The prevalence of C. spp among the 200 subjects was 40% and 18.0% of those infected were aged 20-30 years. Across all Candida spp, C. albicans (33.5%) had the highest prevalence and mostly occurred among patients aged 20-30 years (16.0%). A higher proportion of C. spp infection was detected among patients without clinical symptoms of vaginal discharge (65.0%) and pelvic inflammation diseases (88.8%) than those with symptoms. A higher proportion of those without vaginal itching (34.5%) had positive C. albicans cultures compared with those who had symptoms.\nConclusion: Among the Candida. spp reported in this study, C. albicans was the most vulvo-vaginal candida infection. Majority of the samples without symptoms of pelvic inflammatory disease, vaginal discharge and itching tested positive for Candida infection. \nBased on the findings, health education and awareness for routine screening is highly recommended for women of reproductive age to aid in early Candida diagnosis and treatment. Also, clinicians are advised to essentially emphasize on empirical laboratory diagnosis for speciation of Candida spp as against syndromic approach.

Purpose - This study examined the flow rate in arteries using the modified Windkessel model, considering various models for blood pressure. Methods - An exact solution was derived using a Laplace transform method and the effects of blood pressure on the flow rate in an artery were examined. The effects of the flow resistance, arterial compliance, and inertia of blood on the flow rate were also investigated. Results - The flow rate decreased with increasing inertia of the blood and flow resistance and decreasing arterial compliance. The height and position of the secondary peak were determined by a combination of the flow resistance, arterial compliance, and blood inertance. The results suggest that the risk of hypertension may increase with age because decreases in flow rate due to an increase in flow resistance and a decrease in arterial compliance were more substantial than the increase in flow rate caused by a decrease in blood inertance. Conclusion - The proposed method can provide information to examine how factors, such as aging, disease, and exercise, affect the flow rate in blood vessels.

Background: The aim of our study is to investigate the utility of hematological parameters that are thought to be associated with acute coronary syndrome in the differentiation of non-ST elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTEMI) and unstable angina (UA). \nMethods: A retrospective investigation has been done on patients who were diagnosed with NSTEMI and UA and hospitalized in level III emergency department between January 1,2014 and February 28,2018. For the patients included in the study, their age,sex, hematological parameters values were recorded during check in at the emergency department. The data were statistically analyzed in SPSS 25.0 program\nResults: The study included 1005 patients (749 NSTEMI and 256 UA). As a result of the statistical analysis, with Multiple Logistic Regression method, with respect to diagnosis; odds ratio values were 1.375 and 3.631 for white blood cell (WBC), neutrophil / lymphocyte ratio (NLR), respectively (p <0.001). In the ROC analysis, the separation value of NLR for NSTEMI and UA was 2.237, sensitivity was 84.1%, and specificity was 81.6%.\nConclusions: WBC and NLR values can be used as an independent marker in the differentiation of NSTEMI and UA before cardiac troponin.

Background: The novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) originated in China, and rapidly spread across the world. Several studies have reported that the early prescription of traditional and complementary medicine significantly improves the clinical symptoms of COVID-19, as well as reducing the occurrence of severe pneumonia. The barley-based remedy of Hordeum vulgaris, Ziziphus jujuba, Cordia myxa, and Gum arabica is an ancient traditional remedy for treating the influenza like disease. We aimed to evaluate the efficacy of this remedy in suspected COVID-19 patients. Methods: In this open-label study (with Iranian Registry OF Clinical Trials Number 20180923041093N4), 70 outpatients suspected COVID-19 with eligibility criteria were randomly included in two parallel groups via a block randomization method: barley-based remedy in addition to conventional therapy (as intervention group) and conventional therapy (as control group) for 5 days. primary outcomes such as fever, respiratory rate, cough, weakness and muscular pain via visual analog scale; and secondary outcomes such as dyspnea (via dyspnea severity scale), hospital admission, smell and taste disorder and mortality were evaluated until the end of the follow-up period (14th day). Results: All primary outcomes were significantly improved after the 2nd day of the intervention, and exception of temperature and respiratory rate, this improvement remained until the end of the follow-up period In the secondary outcomes, dyspnea was significantly lower than those of the control group, too. No adverse effects were reported. Conclusion: The present study showed that the barley�based remedy can alleviate the symptoms that patients with COVID-19 may experience.

The main objective of this paper is to investigate the nonparametric estimation of the conditional density of a scalar response variable $Y$, given the explanatory variable $X$ taking value in a Hilbert space when the sample of observations is considered as an independent random variables with identical distribution (i.i.d.) and are linked with a single functional index structure. First of all, a kernel type estimator for the conditional density function (cond-df) is introduced. Afterwards, the asymptotic properties are stated for a conditional density estimator when the observations are linked with a single-index structure from which we derive an central limit theorem (CLT) of the conditional density estimator to show the asymptotic normality of the kernel estimate of this model. As an application the conditional mode in functional single-index model is presented. With the development of computer terchnologies in recent years, the usage of image processing techniques in different areas have significantly increased. Image processing is the computer study for altering the measured or saved digital image data in a manner to fit for a purpose in an electronical media. In this study, by adding red iron oxide pigment (RIOP) into cement mortars in 2%, 4%, 6% and 8% ratios, physical and mechanical characteristics of the mortars were analysed, and color homogenization of them were determined by image processing method. On the manufactured samples, consistency, denisty, water absorption, porosity, compressive strength, flexural strength tests and image processing analysis by open source coded ImageJ programme were performed. Also, SEM-EDS analyses were performed in order to determine the inner structure characteristics of the samples. As a result of this study, changes in physical and mechanical characteristics of the mortars have been observed in different ratios. When it is desired to obtain a red colored mortar, it is determined by image processing analysis that 6% of red iron oxide pigment (RIOP) addition to the mortar mixture would give the optimum result.

Oxidative browning is severe problem in plant tissue culture caused by the oxidation of phenolic compounds. It results in reduced growth, lower rates of regeneration and can ultimately lead to tissue death. The present study is aimed to evaluate the in vitro chitosan application on inhibition of oxidative browning and enhancement of solasodine content of S. xanthocarpum. A Factorial experiment in Complete Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 15 treatments with three replications was followed for tissue culture experiments. In vitro grown leaf segments were cultured on MS media supplemented with various concentrations of 2,4-D, NAA and IAA. After one month, suspension culture was established using MS liquid medium containing 5.0 mg/L IAA with various concentrations of chitosan. Aqueous suspension cells extract was prepared after one month and subjected to qualitative screening of phenols and alkaloids. Using spectrophotometer, total phenolic content was determined quantitatively and solasodine content was estimated using HPLC. Data were subjected to analysis of variance and the differences between means were analysed by Duncan’s multiple range test. Callus tissue browning was observed more after third weeks of callus culture compared to first and second weeks of culture. Chitosan treated cell suspension cultures showed less browning and more solasodine content compared to control. This observation was confirmed by qualitative, quantitative and HPLC analyses. Thus, the study proves in vitro chitosan efficiency for inhibition of oxidative browning and enhancement of solasodine content in S. xanthocarpum.
