It is understood that the difference in daily sunlight duration between summer and winter seasons in T�rkiye is approximately 4 hours 51 minutes. In T�rkiye, a country located on both the European and Asian continents, it is a matter of curiosity whether the difference in daily sunlight duration of almost 5 hours, specific to the seasons, can have a significant effect on chronotypes. Especially the fact that the display of sports performance varies throughout the day according to chronotypes is of significant importance in the sports science community. Therefore, in this research, the relationship between the season of birth and chronotypes of the soccer players participating in the Development Leagues affiliated with the Turkish Soccer Federation during the 2022-2023 season was examined. The population of this cross-sectional study consisted of 8,952 soccer players, while the sample size was composed of 402 soccer players with a 95% confidence level. The survey technique was used for data collection, and in this context, the "Turkish form of Morningness-Eveningness Stability Scale" was employed. Based on the findings of this study, the conclusion reached is that the season of birth does not have a significant impact on the chronotypes of soccer players in the age range of 14-19. We believe that conducting further research in this field is important for a better understanding of chronotype mechanisms. It is recommended that future studies be conducted on different sample groups and in regions with varying altitudes.

Nanostructured TiO2 were synthesized by using the hydrothermal method. Their physiochemical properties were characterized using FTIR, FESEM, XRD, BET and tested as antibacterial materials as well as photocatalyst for MO degradation. FTIR analysis showed the presence of O-H and Ti-O bonds for all samples studied. The phase and morphological structures of nanostructured TiO2 is dependent on the calcination temperature. The FESEM and TEM results showed that TiO2 nanotubes and TiO2 nanoparticles produced from hydrogen titanate after calcination at temperatures of 400 and 700. While at a temperature of 500, there is mixing between TiO2 nanotubes and nanoparticles. XRD analysis shows that as-synthesized is hydrogen trititanate while after calcination at temperatures of 400, 500 and 700 for 2 hours, TiO2 anatase is formed. The TiO2 nanotubes and nanoparticles exhibits large specific surface areas between 300 to 30 m2/g, thus displays good photocatalytic activity and antibacterial properties. The TiO2 nanotube structure has the best performance which successfully degrades 80% of methyl orange (MO) and a 15.44±0.26 mm inhibition zone against S. aureus was obtained at 0.20 M.

Objective To assess the impact of tobacco cessation curriculum on the professional competency of dental students in providing effective TCC, ii) To determine the intention of dental students in providing TCC and whether this intention can be explained by TPB. To identify barriers in providing effective TCC Methods An Analytical cross-sectional study was conducted from March 2023 to August 2023. Using a consecutive sampling technique data of 300 was gathered. Students from clinical years of BDS i.e. (third year and fourth year), dental interns, and postgraduate students from all Public and Private dental colleges in Karachi who had tobacco cessation curricula in formal dental teaching. A structured, self-administered questionnaire was used as a data collection tool which served the purpose of studying intentions and perceived barriers in tobacco cessation counseling (TCC) using constructs of the theory of Planned Behaviour Results The majority of participants demonstrated high intention to deliver Tobacco cessation counseling and certainly reported that it is their responsibility as dental health care providers to educate and aid the consumers in quitting. There was no significant difference observed in the intention of dental students and dentists to provide effective TCC. Statistically significant differences were observed between the barriers faced by dental students and dentists in terms that the students were more concerned that they lack skills of TCC in comparison to dentists; they were also hesitant as they thought it might impact the dentist-patient relationship. Conclusion: This study provides useful insights into the importance of TCC in oral healthcare and the willingness of dental professionals to incorporate it into clinical practice. It also highlights the positive impact of the tobacco cessation curriculum in effective TCC.

Left pulmonary artery sling, also known as anomalous origin of left pulmonary artery from the right pulmonary artery, represents a very rare congenital heart defect. LPAS is classified into 2 types. We report patient with type 2 LPAS, which is very rare. The best imaging modality to confirm this diagnosis is computed tomography (CT) angiography.

The paper aims to draw attention to the need, importance and efficiency of obtaining high quality fruits both in terms of taste and food, by cultivating them in the classic system in households and agritouristic farms. It was also considered very important to promote this traditional way of producing fruit, applying environmentally friendly natural and built cultivation technology, as the effects of climate change are increasingly felt, even if some important states of the world no longer recognize this. We support this mode of cultivation even if it is known that the productions obtained in intensive and super-intensive cultivation system are much higher, but from the research carried out in over 25 years of activity in the field of agrotourism we found that the production obtained in agrotourism capitalized on a higher price, by selling \"directly from the farm\" as organic products or by serving tourists as fresh fruit or as culinary preparations in a local cuisine specific to the area, households or agritouristic farms. Fruits obtained in this type of crop are generally much tastier and must not contain any chemical residues, as the amount of inputs such as pesticides, insecticides and herbicides applied to crops is much lower or even absent, pensioners must to be very responsible, as they have the obligation to ensure the health and food safety of the guests who visit the tourist reception structure.

The paper aimed to carry out a detailed and complex study on the possibility and opportunity of applying total management to the boarding house Jderi Brothers in Păscoia, Vâlcea County using a modern research methodology and perfectly adapted to the proposed topic. First of all, the tourist potential of the area, represented by the richness and beauty of the natural and anthropic tourist resources, was analyzed very well from all points of view. Also, data were collected on the position and accessibility in the area, the architectural style of the pension which is one adapted to the specifics of the area with a perfect fit in the beauty and harmony of the local landscape. At the same time, the main indicators that define the application of total quality management in the \"Jderi Brothers\" holiday village and which reflect the evolution of the rural tourism activity as: accommodation capacity, number of arrivals in boarding house, number of overnight stays in boarding houses were realistically and pertinently analyzed. Along with them, other indicators were approached: indicators of tourist demand, indicators of tourist circulation, indicators of tourist offer, indicators of the quality of tourist activity. At the end of the research, it was found from the processing of all data, that the administrator and staff working in the pension apply a management that fully respects the principles of total quality, because almost all indicators analyzed have grown steadily from year to year, significantly exceeding average values national.

Electrical performance of wire bond interconnection in electronic packages relates closely to the functionality of the microchip during performance in any application. During high temperature storage (HTS), Cu-Al intermetallic compound (IMC) forms due to interfacial diffusion between Cu wire and Al metallization. Heat treatment enhances the growth of the Cu-Al IMC leading to an increase in the thickness of the IMC layer. In this paper, we report the electrical studies and the interfacial microstructure of the thermosonically bonded Cu wire to Al metallization bond pad bonded at 280 °C and annealed for 1000 hours. Samples were studied for their morphology via transmission electron microscopy - energy dispersive X-ray analysis (TEM-EDX) while electrical resistivity of the packages was studied via the current-voltage curve measurements. The experiment results are summarized as: (i) an increase of HTS duration increases the thickness of Cu-Al IMC interface layer; and (ii) an increase of the Cu-Al IMC layer thickness increases the electrical resistivity of the electronic package. These studies provide insights into how these parameters can contribute to the development of materials and devices for improved reliability.

With the improvements in computer technologies, utilization of image processing techniques has increased in many areas (such as medicine, defense industry, other industries etc.) Many different image processing techniques are used for surface analysis, detection of manufacturing defects, and determination of physical and mechanical characteristics of composite materials. In this study, cementitious composites were obtained by addition of Grounded Granulated Blast-Furnace Slag (GGBFS), Styrene Butadiene polymer (SBR), and Grounded Granulated Blast-Furnace Slag and Styrene Butadiene polymer together (GGBFS + SBR). Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) beads were added to these cementitious composites in different ratios (20%, 40% and 60%). The mechanical and physical characteristics of the composites were determined, and homogeneity indexes of the composites were determined by image processing techniques to determine EPS distribution forms in them. Physical and mechanical characteristics of the produced samples were obtained by applying consistency, density, water absorption, compressive strength (7 and 28 days), flexural strength (7 and 28 days) and tensile splitting strength (7 and 28 days) tests on them. Also, visual examination by using digital microscope, and image analysis by using image processing techniques with open source coded ImageJ program were performed. As a result of the study, it is determined that GGBFS and SBR addition strengthens the adhesion sites formed as it increases the adhesion power of the mixture and helps to get rid of the segregation problem caused by EPS. As a result of the image processing analysis it is demonstrated that GGBFS and SBR addition has positive contribution on homogeneity index.

Calcium silicate cements are widely used in contemporary dentistry. Their properties such\nas biocompatibility, osteoinductive potential, and stimulation of pulp regeneration are valuable for\nthe treatment of perforations, pulp capping procedures, retrograde fillings, etc. The aim of this article\nis to present the new calcium silicate cements available on the market, to make a review of the new\nmodifications in their composition, to describe the evolution of each generation of these materials,\nand to reveal how these changes impact their different properties and improve their characteristics.\nAt the same time, this paper makes a brief retrospection of the first calcium silicate-based materials\nwhich started the contemporary mineral trioxide aggregate era. This article also points out some\nfuture tendencies in the development of calcium silicate cements and attempts to differentiate their\ngenerations mentioned in the literature.
