Aim: This investigation examined the role of sports management in promoting talented youth football players to professional teams in Qatar, specifically evaluating talent development strategies, transition support mechanisms, and organizational challenges. Methods: A cross-sectional quantitative survey assessed talent discovery, development, transition support, and challenges in promoting youth players in Qatar football. Validated questionnaires were administered to 117 professionals (97.4% male; 82.9% players, 19.7% coaches, 10.3% administrators). The instrument evaluated three domains on 5-point Likert scales after content validity assessment by experts. Results: Talent development frameworks showed positive implementation (3.91±1.07), with highest agreement for competitive exposure (74.4%) and sports-educational environments (73.5%). However, transition support mechanisms demonstrated lower effectiveness (3.27±1.56), particularly in first-team integration (55.6%) and player-coach communication (54.8%). Primary organizational challenges included transfer regulations (70.1% agreement), external pressures (65.8%), and educational program provision (59.9%). Infrastructure adequacy showed minimal concern (44.4%), reflecting successful facility development. Professional experience exceeding 10 years characterized 53% of respondents, providing robust experiential insights into system effectiveness. Conclusion: While Qatar has established comprehensive talent identification frameworks, significant gaps exist in youth-to-professional transition support and organizational integration. Key recommendations include implementing standardized monitoring protocols, enhancing youth-professional team integration, and strengthening psychosocial support systems. Success requires coordinated interventions at structural, policy, and operational levels while leveraging Qatar's advanced infrastructure. These findings contribute to understanding talent development challenges in emerging football nations while providing evidence-based recommendations for enhancing development pathways.

Ensuring workplace safety while maintaining operational efficiency is critical in high-risk industrial settings such as aluminum casting. This study investigates the implementation of the enhanced 5S+S methodology—comprising Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety—in an aluminum casting factory over three years (2021–2023). The primary objective was to assess its effectiveness in improving occupational safety, operational efficiency, and employee engagement. The methodology was systematically introduced across the foundry, machining, and other departments, with quantitative safety performance indicators—including Accident Frequency Rate (AFR), Accident Severity Rate (ASR), and Combined Risk Index (CRI)—evaluated annually. Additionally, employee perception surveys were conducted in 2020 (pre-implementation) and 2023 (post-implementation) to assess changes in workplace satisfaction across four key domains: physical working conditions, health and safety improvements, training effectiveness, and management responsiveness. Statistical analysis revealed significant reductions in AFR, ASR, and CRI, with the foundry department—historically the highest-risk area—demonstrating the most substantial improvements. Blue-collar employees reported statistically significant enhancements in workplace satisfaction, while white-collar employees maintained consistently high satisfaction levels. The findings emphasize the transformative potential of integrating safety into Lean manufacturing frameworks, reinforcing the 5S+S methodology as a powerful tool for reducing workplace hazards, increasing employee engagement, and promoting sustainability in industrial environments. By embedding safety within structured Lean practices, this study contributes to the growing body of research on sustainable manufacturing, occupational health, and continuous improvement strategies in high-risk workplaces.

This study aims to compare density-adjusted radiotherapy (IMRT) and volumetric intensity-adjusted arc treatment (VMAT) techniques with patient treatment plans. Plans were made using linac-based 8-field IMRT and dual-arc VMAT techniques that generate X-rays at 6MV energies using the Treatment Planning System (TPS). The two planning techniques were compared with the dose winding and homogeneity index (HI) and the conformity index (CI) values in the planned target volume PTV 56, PTV 76 structures. In critical organs, V50, V25, and V15 (dose volts) values for the rectum were analyzed for bladder V50, V40, and V20, values for femur heads and V50, and V10 for femur heads. The treatment times, segment numbers, and monitor unit (MU) values of the plans obtained with both techniques were compared. Close dose conditions were obtained for IMRT and VMAT techniques and target volumes. The calculated Hi and CI values for PTV 76 be similar in both methods. All critical organs can be kept below dose limitations with both planning techniques. In general, close results were obtained with both methods in terms of organ doses at risk. However, a significant difference has occurred between the two techniques regarding the V50 values in the rectation. The number of segments and MU derived from plans created by the VMAT technique was higher than plans created by the IMRT technique, but the treatment time was shorter. Compared to the 8-field IMRT and VMAT techniques used in prostate cancer radiotherapy, similar dosimetric results have been achieved in both PTV conditions and critical organ protections. Regarding treatment time only, the IMRT technique of VMAT has a distinct advantage.

These innovations aim to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare delivery, particularly in managing chronic conditions and elderly care. Main Goal The main goal of this review is to evaluate the impact of AI and telemedicine on caregiving monitoring processes. By synthesizing insights from the conference proceedings and conducting a systematic review of literature from Google Scholar, Web of Science, and PubMed, this review aims to highlight key findings and expert recommendations on how these technologies can enhance caregiving practices. Methodology: The review included a qualitative analysis of discussions and presentations from the San Diego Conference, supplemented by a structured search of academic databases using keywords related to AI, telemedicine, monitoring, and caregiving. Relevant studies were reviewed to identify current trends and advancements in the field. and telemedicine improves monitoring accuracy, fosters proactive healthcare interventions, and increases patient satisfaction. Conclusion: Integrating AI and telemedicine into caregiving represents a significant shift toward proactive and personalized healthcare. This review emphasizes the transformative potential of these technologies in improving health outcomes and enhancing the caregiving experience. It also calls for continued research and implementation to fully realize their benefits in clinical practice.

This study examines the unique challenges and dynamics of domestic violence during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the main goal of enhancing existing knowledge regarding the pandemic's impact on domestic violence and informing the development of effective, tailored family-supportive therapy (FST) interventions for affected individuals and families. The secondary goal is to identify specific barriers and challenges that hinder effective intervention and explore potential strategies to overcome these obstacles, particularly in the context of remote support. The methodology employed a narrative synthesis approach, selected for its appropriateness given the novelty of the topic and the limited comprehensive literature on domestic violence during the pandemic. Traditional systematic or nonsystematic reviews were impractical due to the emerging nature of the field. A thorough search was conducted across multiple databases, including Web of Science, Google Scholar, and PubMed, focusing on studies published in the last decade. Keywords such as "family supportive therapy," "pandemic", "domestic violence," and "interventions" were used to guide the search. In addition, supplementary materials, including book chapters on psychotherapeutic approaches, were reviewed. This approach enabled the integration of insights from various limited sources and facilitated thematic exploration. The results reveal that the pandemic exacerbated stress, financial strain, and restricted access to in-person therapy while introducing challenges related to privacy and confidentiality. Additionally, cultural nuances and language barriers posed obstacles to effective intervention. These findings underscore the need for culturally sensitive, technology-supported, and individualized family interventions. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the critical importance of addressing domestic violence in the specific context of the COVID-19 pandemic. By synthesizing available literature, it provides valuable insights into both the challenges and gaps in existing interventions. The development of targeted, client-centered strategies is essential to mitigate harm and promote well-being for those affected by domestic violence during this unprecedented crisis.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effects of curative radiochemotherapy on muscle oxygen saturation dynamics using the Moxy oxygen monitor in individuals with locally advanced lung cancer. Materials and Methods: A prospective study was conducted at Atatürk University Sports Sciences Application and Research Center. Male patients aged 30–70 years with a diagnosis of locally advanced lung cancer were recruited from the Radiation Oncology Clinic of Erzurum Regional Training and Research Hospital. Before and after curative radiochemotherapy, participants performed a low-intensity acute aerobic walking exercise protocol on a treadmill for 10 minutes. Muscle oxygen saturation (SmO₂) and total hemoglobin (tHb) levels in the rectus femoris muscle were monitored during and after the test using nearinfrared spectroscopy with the Moxy monitor. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 software. Results: The results demonstrated a significant increase in total hemoglobin values in both the right and left legs following curative radiochemotherapy. Conclusion: Curative radiochemotherapy positively influenced muscle oxygen saturation and total hemoglobin levels, suggesting a potential improvement in muscle oxygenation dynamics in patients with locally advanced lung cancer.

Comics, particularly manga, have been accused of being culturally odorless, in that they do not depict a specific ethnic culture authentically nor phenotypically. Hence, many quarters do not consider them as serious discourse due to the lack of historical-social accuracy. But is this because they wish to avoid ethnic and cultural stereotypes? What if ethnicity is squarely portrayed in recognizable form? This paper examines the authenticity of the portrayal of Chinese ethnicity in selected manga which have central ethnic Chinese characters, namely Paripi Koumei/Ya Boy Kongming, VTuber Confucius, and Pet shop of Horrors. The characteristics that render Chinese ethnicity recognizable are highlighted and discussed in the context of racial stereotyping, using the method of thematic analysis. Bourdieu’s framework of symbolic violence is utilized to explain the dominance of visual representation of Chinese ethnicity. In the present day, media consumers` tastes have grown in sophistication, as the availability of digital platforms enable people to meet and deconstruct harmful and stereotypical metanarratives which perpetuate racist ideas.

DSMC method is a common method in fluid mechanics for modeling rarefied gas flows. This method, due to the rapid development of the computer calculations and reduction of its cost, has attracted special attention. Non-linear flow of the gas is analyzed at the molecular scale in this method, recently. The results of applying molecular models at the DSMC method, has shown that this technique in comparison with classic methods is very valuable. The Boltzmann equations for the probability distribution function for gas molecules are solved using a probabilistic (Monte Carlo) simulation technique. The injected Argon and Helium gases into a rotating cylinder will be examined numerically using DSMC method for dilute gas (Knudsen number from 0.002 to 10). Because in the vacuum region, Navier–Stokes equations lose their validation, so it is needed to find a technique to analyze the behavior of the gas in this region. Using this method, the azimuthal and radial velocity profiles, axial mass flux, numerical density and temperature profiles in the case of a linear temperature gradient applied to the rotating wall will be analyzed. Also, in the case that feed enters at the middle of rotating cylinder and exit from the two ends, the radial and azimuthal velocity profiles, axial mass flux and density profiles are analyzed and examined. The analysis of results shows that the feed ratio has impact on the azimuthal, radial velocity and numerical density.

The work is devoted to the actual problem of landslide prediction in the mountain zone and the development of measures for engineering protection of the landslide hazardous area. The main task of the presented work was to calculate the stability of the landslide slope within the Min-Kush village of the Jumgal district of the Naryn region of the Kyrgyz Republic. A preliminary assessment of the natural factors of the development of landslide processes on the territory of the Jumgal district was carried out, danger zones were identified and predictions were made on the possible activation of the landslide process. Engineering protection measures for the studied area are recommended.

Background There is no evidence if the metabolic waste products of Nematodes are removed through the fluid expelled by the excretory pore.\nPurpose The present article is tracking the chemical clue for the excretory system of a strongyle larva (superfamily Strongyloidea).\nMethods Filariform larvae of Nippostrongylus muris (natural parasite in the small intestine of wild rats) were incubated in a catechol aqueous. The formation of excretory pore precipitate in these solutions and other organic reagents were performed. The conditions under which precipitation occurred, and the possible mechanism of the reaction were inspected.\nResults Large precipitates were formed at excretory pores of living larvae when Nippostrongylus muris were incubated in an aqueous solution of catechol. The observations showed no precipitate at the pore of a dead organism. In tap water, no material of any kind was expelled through the excretory pore of a living larva. What is more, the precipitate was soluble in strong acids and bases but insoluble in common organic solvents, thus, it was polymeric in nature.\nConclusions Consequently, the chemical moiety (mainly diamines and dicarboxylic acids) in this fluid is reacted with quinones and formed large precipitates of a polymeric substance at the excretory pore of the larva.

The place and significance of local people as central stakeholders in decision making and application process in the scope of sustainable tourism activities is evident. In this context, it is of great importance to determine the local people’s attitudes towards sustainable tourism and development. Thus, aim of this study is to reveal the importance and performance perceptions of the local people towards sustainable tourism in line with the sustainable tourism principles determined by the World Tourism Organization. Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method was applied in order to examine importance that local people give to these principles and perceived performance of their application. Data was collected from 389 locals in Demre District in Antalya city in Turkey with the survey technique. According to the findings of IPA, local people reported high levels of importance to all sustainable tourism principles. On the other hand, perception of local people towards application of all the principles, except “protection of biological diversity”, shows low levels of performance. Unique contribution of the current study is the fact that it provides the perspective on how local people evaluate sustainable tourism principles and emphasizes the awareness of perception differences when it comes to sustainable tourism.

The degree of protection of ascorbic acid and sunlight agents based on the age of the organisms has not been determined. The antigenotoxic effect with both simultaneous and post treatment protocols of ascorbic acid, indirect sunlight and the combination of ascorbic acid-indirect sunlight on DNA from lymphocytes of mice of 1 and 24 weeks of age exposed to ethyl methanesulfonate was determined in vitro using the comet assay. An increase of basal genetic damage in mice adults (P <0.001) and an increase of sensitive to ethyl methanesulfonate in lymphocytes of mice of 1 week (P<0.0001) were observed. Antigenotoxic effect of both simultaneous and post treatment of ascorbic acid, sunlight and ascorbic acid-sunlight was remarkable, particularly the ascorbic acid-sunlight combination in 1-week lymphocytes (P<0.00001) in simultaneous treatment. Our data indicated protective effect of ascorbic acid and sunlight on DNA from both lymphocytes of young and adult mice. Using simultaneous treatment and post-treatment strong protective effect of ascorbic acid and sunlight on DNA of young and adult mice was demonstrated, however the synergistic effect was mainly observed in young mice with both simultaneous and post treatment protocols. The highest genetic damage was observed in young lymphocytes exposed to ethyl methanesulfonate. In both young and adults mice the exposition to ascorbic acid, sunlight or ascorbic acid-sunlight could increase the protection of DNA.

The simplest formulation of the present Universe is given by the Λ-Cold Dark Matter (Λ-CDM) model, where Λ being referred to as cosmological constant. In this model, the dominant energy budget of the Universe is described by the cold dark matter and the dark energy. The gravitational behavior of the dark energy for the expanding Universe is attributed to Λ which is equivalent to the vacuum energy density. The discovery of accelerated expansion of the Universe has opened the most important window not only in modern cosmology but also for the fundamental physics. In this work, we perform some analytical calculations to estimate the value of Λ using the results from the cosmological observations. The numerical value of\nΛ determined from cosmological observations is found to be very small, but it represents late time accelerated expansion of the Universe. Acceleration of the expanding Universe due to Λ\nstarted dominating at the epoch when age of the Universe was ∼ 70% of the current age. We also discuss the unique relationship between Λ and various constants of physics derived using\naxiomatic approach. The numerical value of Λ derived from the physical constants is in good agreement with the value obtained from cosmological observations.
